December 2018 News

Hi Folks!
I hope December finds you well and happy. As 2018 draws to a close, I wanted to let you know what's been going on in my world.

As some of you all ready know, I have been trying to figure out how to spend more time with my family in the Kansas City area, who have suffered some recent health setbacks. Unfortunately, my Mom recently suffered her second stroke in less than two years, which has hastened my plans for balancing my time between Portland and the Midwest. In a few weeks I will be traveling to Kansas City to spend the holidays, assess my folks situation, and look into lining up art shows in the KC area. Most likely I will be spending longer periods of time there more frequently, which will require me to set up an art studio, so that I can continue working on various art projects in Portland and Kansas City. Of course, this will be much more financially challenging, and so I am asking for a little help: if you have been interested in purchasing an original painting, it would be extremely helpful as I prepare for a big life transition. Here are a few ways you can help me out (and aquire some new art in the process!)

If you live in Portland, my abstract paintings are on view at The Carina Lounge, located at 410 NW 21st. Ave (hours are 4:30pm-11pm, Tuesday-Sunday) If you are interested in a painting there, contact me and we can make arrangements. The show will come down in mid-January, and work will be available for pick up at that time.

Also in Portland, I will be having an open studio sale on Sunday, December 16th, from 1pm-6pm at 1974 SE 20th Ave. (at the intersection of SE 20th and SE Harrison)
